Wider Connections
Partnership, accountability and support
Lifehouse Community Church has many connections with other churches. These wider relationships are very important to us, providing important accountability and valuable support. We believe a church can do much more in partnership together with others than it can on its own.
Oxfordshire Community Churches
We are part of the Central Region of Oxfordshire Community Churches – a family of regions, churches and other initiatives working together as a single charity. We enjoy working very closely with Oxford Community Church. Oxfordshire Community Churches are part of a wider family of churches called Salt & Light Ministries.
Salt and Light Ministries
We are also part of Salt & Light - an international family of churches and leaders. Salt & Light UK is a family of churches together on mission. Together we believe in strong, loving and committed relationships within local churches and across the Body of Christ throughout the nations.
Salt and Light Advance
We are part of a family around 20 churches and church locations within Salt & Light UK. We have a rich history of relationship and shared activity for many years. The Advance ‘sphere’ contains churches in Wales, Worcestershire, Wiltshire, Oxfordshire, Gloucestershire, Buckinghamshire and Berkshire.
Other Connections
We are also members of Evangelical Alliance UK. We agree with their Basis of Faith and seek to abide by the guidelines of the Evangelical Relationships Commitment. Within the evangelical framework we have developed our own Vision and Values to express our charismatic and family distinctives.
We also work closely with other churches in the Cherwell Valley including churches in Banbury and in Bicester.
