Exploring Prayer

We’re starting 2023 here at Lifehouse with a teaching series on prayer!

As a church, God is calling us into a richer culture of prayer. This new teaching series is going to explore different ways of praying, helping us to discover new ways of connecting with God individually and corporately. Whether you’ve never prayed before or prayer is a regular habit in your life, this teaching series is an opportunity to learn more about what it means to talk to God.

The way we pray doesn’t always have to be the same! There’s a whole range of different ways to pray. Over the course of the series we will be exploring the following topics:

• The Lord’s Prayer

• Praying together

• Praying in the Spirit

• Everyone can pray

• Written prayers

• Prayer and fasting

• Praying continually

Alongside the Sunday teaching series, our missional communities will also be focusing on prayer in this season, as we put these different ways of praying into practice.

We’re going to finish the teaching series with a week of prayer. More details on this will follow nearer the time, but we will have different ways for us all to engage with prayer. There will be a focus on praying together as a church family, as well as individually and in our communities.
